Hello, my name is Nathaniel Brown and welcome to my homepage! Here you can learn about my work as a software engineer.

I grew up tinkering with farm equipment and anything else I could take apart in Lyme, NH. This sparked an interest in engineering, and I went on to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Part way through my degree I fell in love with coding and I've worked in software ever since.

I enjoy many of the unique challenges software development offers. I like working with clients to understand the true nature of their problems and coming up with technical solutions to match. I like architecting systems that match the complexity of the problems at hand. I like writing beautiful, maintainable code and helping others do the same. Finally, I like to create software that I think will improve people's lives.
